A three-day leadership camp for high school groups: team challenges, high ropes, an overnight hike in small groups and canoeing, with a leadership debrief.

1. Day 1: arrival, team challenges and high ropes
2. Expedition planning in hike groups
3. Day 2: overnight hike with an educator; bush campsite cooking
4. Night navigation and stars
5. Day 3: canoeing on the dam
6. Leadership debrief and departure

• AC9HP8M05: participate in physical activities in community and outdoor spaces and evaluate ways to increase their use
• AC9HP8M09: practise leadership, collaboration and group decision-making in movement contexts

Details

• Where: 88 Bluebush Track, Mallee Ridge SA 5254
• Duration: 3 days, 2 nights (arrive 10:00 am day 1, leave 2:00 pm day 3)
• Group size: 40 to 90 students
• Dates: 3-day camps starting Monday to Wednesday. Book at least 3 weeks ahead.
• Price: $345 per student, including accommodation, all meals and activities; teachers and helpers free. Choose your numbers on the booking form.
• Camp information sheet: due 3 weeks before camp (dietary needs, allergies, medical, medication and emergency contacts).
• Supervision: At least 1 teacher for every 10 students.
